Harriet Greenspan
Casting Director and Acting Coach

Harriet Greenspan has been a casting director for the past 25 years. Greenspan's casting credits include many television movies, such as "Mean Girls 2" for Paramount and ABC Family, "Scooby Doo, The Mystery Begins" and "Scooby Doo, The Case of the Lake Monster" for the Cartoon Network and Warner Bros, "Mr Troop Mom" starring George Lopez for Nickelodeon and Warner Bros, "Shredderman Rules and Last Day of Summer for Nickelodeon. Harriet's other T.V. credits include "True Jackson, V.P," "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide" and "Unfabulous." She is currently casting the new Nickelodeon series, "Bucket and Skinner's Epic Adventures." Harriet just completed the casting on the basketball feature "Switch" for Warner Bros. Corbin Bernsen's feature film shot in Akron, OH, "25 Hill" and at this time casting his newest film to shoot in Ohio on March 19th, 2012. Greenspan was also responsible for casting the NBC and Spelling produced soap, "Sunset Beach. " Harriet is also the on set acting coach for the new Nickelodeon series, "House of Anubis," based in England. Harriet was also a casting executive at ABC overseeing the casting on primetime series and pilots. Preceding ABC, Greenspan was at Lynn Stalmaster and Associates where she began her casting career as an associate working on big budgeted features. Harriet travels all over the country teaching acting workshops geared to kids, teens and young adults. Greenspan has her B.A. in theatre arts, with a minor in speech communication. Harriet was the 2010 Artios winner for Outstanding Achievement in Children's Casting.

Experienced professional actor/coach Ellen Kingston teaches you about the business of commercials:  who is casting, what they are looking for, what makes a good talent, what happens on the job, what you need for photos and demos, how agencies work, what to expect for payment and the Kingston Script Method!  This method of commercial acting will show you how to break down a script including phrasing, timing, pitch, breath control, intent, objective, inflection, character and more.  For both on-camera and voiceover acting.
